1. Squirrels have the same number of vertebrae in their necks as a giraffe. It's seven. In fact, all mammals have 7 vertebrae in their necks apart from two of the sloth family.

2. Elephants have 150,000 muscles in their trunks. And get charged extra baggage fees on planes because of it.

4. Four million cats are eaten in Asia each year. Sheesh, steer clear of those McDonald's restaurants.  


5. If you lift a Kangaroo's tail off the ground, it can't hop. But it can kick you in the face.


6. Tintin is called Tantan in Japan, as Tintin is pronounced "Chin chin" in Japanese. And it means penis.

10. There is such a thing as Space Cats. In 1963, France decided to blast a cat into space to see what would happen. They named it Felicette (Astrocat) and implanted electrodes in her brain which were designed to transmit neurological signals back to mission control.
